The Senator representing Rivers East senatorial district, Magnus Abe, played host to the who is who in and out of his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), as he went to church to thank God for the victory he got at the appeal court.
The well attended thanksgiving which held at the St Paul’s Anglican Church, Diobu, Port Harcourt, played host to the Senate President of Nigeria, Bukola Saraki, who led a delegation of other senators, as well as State Governors such as Governor of IMO State, Rocha’s Okorocha.
Following the thanksgiving at the church, the reception which held at the Port Harcourt Polo club, saw a attendance of people from both the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) as well as the APC, including the Governor of Rivers State, Barr. Nyesom Wike, who put politics aside to play a good host to the senator’s visitors.
